My typical bus ride home
The bus was crowded today as per usual, but it’s a little different today. I stood amidst the crowd and allowed a lady to tenderise my calf for a good five minutes. I stood there wondering if it’s due to ignorance or absolute disregard that she allowed her handbag to move so freely with the bus’ jerky motions, when she interrupted my thoughts with a step on my shoes! I turned to see her squeeze her way to the further end of the bus, and followed suit. I thought she’ll walk to the very end of the bus because she’s upset that people are not moving to the rear, but she didn’t! She just stood a few seats away from the door, and pouted her lips like a hip hop wannabe till she alighted. Guess no matter how much I hate the crowd, there’s someone who feels worse! Haha
