Work has been great. My cozy lil department only consists of me and my Communications manager which means there really isn’t any politics or competition involved. I just need to assist her in whatever she does, and the rest of the contact I’ve with the various departments and PR agencies is basically confined within the means of Microsoft Outlook.
I think my manager is advicing me to burst my blissful lil bubble, so that I’ll feed and be fed in the huge ecosystem outside such that I’ll be a part of it that won’t be discarded in 2 months time. Gah, guess I’ll try to step out of my comfort zone.
